Whatever she said doesn't really matter since she once said this about going on Fox News.
"...Fox is not a news outlet, it’s an openly partisan opinion factory and the Democrats should not be legitimizing them (and allowing them to recruit Democratic viewers to propagandize to) by doing this...."
A number of these top bloggers agreed to come on record with me after privately arguing to these groups that they deserved a share in the ad wealth and couldn’t be taken for granted any longer.
“They come to us, expecting us to give them free publicity, and we do, but it’s not a two way street,” Jane Hamsher, the founder of FiredogLake, said in an interview. “They won’t do anything in return. They’re not advertising with us. They’re not offering fellowships. They’re not doing anything to help financially, and people are growing increasingly resentful.”
Hamsher singled out Americans United for Change, which raises and spends big money on TV ad campaigns driving Obama’s agenda, as well as the constellation of groups associated with it, and the American Association of Retired Persons, also a big TV advertiser.
“Most want the easy way — having a big blogger promote their agenda,” adds Markos Moulitsas, the founder of DailyKos. “Then they turn around and spend $50K for a one-page ad in the New York Times or whatever.” Moulitsas adds that officials at such groups often do nothing to engage the sites’s audiences by, say, writing posts, instead wanting the bloggers to do everything for them.
This is from April...right around when the grumblings began over Dont Ask, Dont Tell......sooooo ummmmmm......heh...what's this REALLY all about? To get broke off?? Payola?? LMAO...I guess if the right people decided to "pay" for advertising the benefits of this Senate bill we'd see a switcheroo for your ASS.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I really appreciated Sagittarius's remarks yesterday about the remnants of Jane Hamsher's followers at JJP.
As much as Jack/Baratunde may want to separate himself from Jane's rhetoric, JJP is still an active member of Hamsher's Common Sense Media Group...the advertising agency that offers "to penetrate [f*ck] the African-American community."
"Talk is cheap" and "actions speak louder than words." JJP still displays CSM's ads prominently.
Until JJP renounces that relationship, then they are still accomplices to Jane Hamsher's foolish tactics.
Appearances can be deceiving. Just because you look like you're biting the hands that feeds you, doesn't mean that you stopped eating from that hand. If Miss Jane will fly you to NetRoots, then all will be forgiven, right?
My people mean more to me than a plane ticket. My memory is not short, either.

Basically.....the three of them might as well each get a big azz crunked out chain, a platinum grille and do a video with some scantily clad hoochies dancing around as they talk about how they GOTS to get paid.
That's odd--I checked my listings and "Biggest Loser" and Jay Leno are the only shows on NBC tonight.
The special aired originally on ABC, so it would be an extremely rare case for another network to have the rights to broadcast the special...especially since ABC originally had the rights.
God would think twice about showing up at NBC, cause' they 're not down with diversity.....
So break out the hide-away, and I'll gladly jump in! ***gets into pajamas and crawls in****

YOO HOO! Progressives! It's me again bringing some good tidings and Christmas cheer.
Listen, I'm not one to gossip, but check this out: I was watching Morning Joke this morning, and your progressive lord and savior, Bernie Sanders was on and guess what he said? He said that -- are you sitting down? -- He said that when it comes to a single payer system there are only FIVE VOTES FOR IT in the Senate.
OH. SNAP.
Bernie just straight exposed ya'lls "Obama should've went for single-payer" bullshit! So, I'm sayin' -- Who gon' check him, boo?
I heard ole Bernie gave a smackdown to Mika. They tried to pick & choose from his responses and he wasn't having it..
Sepia
He sho' did! Mika was trying to act like she didn't know that the insurance lobbyist are running all through Congress. Ho, have a seat. That's the reason why Obama's agenda is being blocked. Obama is trying to make it do what it do with what he has which is a bought and paid for Congress. Like someone said, give PBO a Congress that will help him achieve his goals!
"That's the reason why Obama's agenda is being blocked. Obama is trying to make it do what it do with what he has which is a bought and paid for Congress."
Exactly! And he also told voters during the campaign that he couldn't make it DO what it DO by himself, that he would need ALL of our help.
Whuh___, just 5 votes????? Buh, buhh the Dems have 60...I wonder if KO, HuffPo, JaneHamshit, RachelMadcow, Ed Shitz or Howard Deezn*tts are gonna speak about this anytime soon..

News Alert 03:15 PM EST Tuesday, December 22, 2009
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced Tuesday that a vote on final passage of a health-care reform bill will take place at 8 a.m. Dec. 24. It will be followed by a vote on increasing the federal debt ceiling, the leaders said.
News Alert 02:40 PM EST Tuesday, December 22, 2009
In an exclusive interview, President Obama rejected the criticism that he has compromised too much on health-care reform legislation, challenging his critics to identify any “gap” between what he campaigned on last year and what Congress is on the verge of passing.
Mo'Nique's turn in Precious was phenomenal — but much of the chatter on Hollywood blogs has surrounded her refusals to campaign for an Oscar — or pander to the academy. But does Mo'Nique have the right idea?
Over on ShowBiz 411, Roger Friedman is perplexed by why Mo'Nique would refuse to get with the Oscar program:
She's been nominated for several best supporting actress awards, but talk show host and comedian Mo'Nique doesn't care or doesn't get it. [...]
In the past, a few actors have missed awards shows. But they were all well established or lived outside the U.S. [...]
Nothing seems to get through, which is odd because Mo'Nique seems like a bright person. But snubbing the NYFCC is a plan she should reconsider. She makes a point in that clip: she made the movie, you see her performance, what else can she do? This is a bit naive, but true fundamentally. But maybe she doesn't understand that she's already won this award. This isn't the same as doing publicity.
What's next? The Golden Globes? The Oscars? If these things don't mean anything to her, there are plenty of actresses who will appreciate the honors, from Julianne Moore to Anna Kendrick to Vera Farmiga. Mo'Nique: fame is fleeting. Enjoy all this while you can!
But the answer is pretty clear. Mo'Nique has already stated why she's not tripping over an Oscar: VIDEO
Let's read between the lines a bit here. Mo'Nique asks two Oscar nominated people (Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson), who have been through the process, what the net financial benefit was and they couldn't really answer her with anything but "exposure."
In addition, all three participants in the conversation talk about "your audience" versus the academy. Mo'Nique has a very specific audience - one that is predominantly African American, and predominantly female. Mo'Nique is very well represented in black media, and occasionally makes forays into the mainstream. But the implication of people like Friedman is that she needs to look at crafting a "real" career - that all this niche work with the African American community isn't worth as much as the potential promise of the Oscars. Taraji explains that "we" have our fans, but the Academy (and most award shows that are not dedicated to specific communities) may not have that same type of representation. But, all that depends on whether or not Mo'Nique wants a different type of career. After all, the one she has looks pretty good from where I sit - a late night talk show, successful franchises, and the freedom to be unapologetically herself isn't a terrible lot in life.
Finally, considering the relatively dismal record of African Americans in competition for the Oscars (not to mention the Academy's stranger decisions, like giving Denzel Washington the nod for the forgettable Training Day, rather than just about any of the other roles he portrayed), well...maybe Mo'Nique is better off not getting too invested in all the hoopla.
In the meantime, Steve Pond over at The Wrap is rolling his eyes at the whole situation, noting that much of it appears to be sour grapes on behalf of the New York Film Critics awards - another venue Mo'Nique has decided to skip. Pond opines that far from being self-sabotage, Mo'Nique might actually have the right strategy: My two cents:
1) For the most part, the Academy won't care. Snubbing film critics isn't an actionable offense; in fact, it's something that most AMPAS voters have probably wanted to do many times over the years.
2) Besides which, many members of the Academy won't mind if she snubs every other awards show and critics group in existence. In fact, that Academy would love it if she refused to attend all the others. They know she'll be at the Oscar show – let's face it, pride and Oprah won't let her miss that one. And if that's the only show she attends, it'll just make the Oscars seem that more special, and reinforce that it's the only awards show that really counts.
Is she "ruining her Oscar hopes?" Hell, if this is the worst she can do, I think she might be improving them.
More power to Monique, but her ass is gonna be at the Oscars. She doesn't have to campaign for it but she shouldn't snub it outright.
After Oprah and Tyler have invested their names in the undertaking, her ass is not gonna shame those two. Speaking of which, this may be both Oprah and Tyler's first film (as producers) to ever be nominated for an Oscar.
Sepia
I don't think she's snubbing it nor shaming Oprah and Tyler. She's already been on O's show twice to talk about the movie and she's appeared on The Today Show.
As for all of the accusations about Mo demanding money for appearances or refusing to promote the show, all of that is based on anonymous sources and hearsay. Besides, since when has any of these fools cared about actors attending these functions?
I hear you Sepia--Lord knows Monique is busy with her own late-night show. Folks like Marlon Brando and Robert DeNiro never campaigned for the oscar, either...but I am saying, Monique's ass is gonna be sitting up in the Kodak Theatre come February.
Webb, I see your points, however, I don't think Monique is trying to shame Oprah and Tyler. If it's true, I haven't heard Monique herself say she's not going to attend.
Oprah, Tyler, and the Oscars did not make Monique, and they sure as hell won't break her either. IMHO
I don't really see it as a "make or break," issue.
I do see it as recognizing incredible talent regardless of a person's color. An analogy would be to clown the Masters and Augusta National for not having any AAs ever win the tournament or be a member of that "club," prior to Tiger Woods coming on the scene.
When Tiger Woods won his first Masters, that was an earth-shattering event unto itself. And with each additional victory, he built a reputation that AAs CAN PLAY "THEIR" GAME and WIN AT IT.
There have been major strides made with Jennifer Hudson and Jamie Foxx walking off with Oscar hardware. And with each of these victories, WEE prove that we can play the "Academy's" subjective game and yet our talent prevails there too.
As it's said, reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated.
I've been in a self-imposed bubble the last few weeks, but am still around. Things are good, just finally got to the point where I needed a break. So I'm taking one, at least through Christmas, my birthday (12/28), and the new year.

Obamas offer condolences after death of 107-year old Atlantan By Bob Keefe The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The White House just issued a statement expressing condolences for Ann Nixon Cooper, the 107-year-old Atlanta woman who died Monday. "From her beginnings in Shelbyville and Nashville, Tenn. to her many years as a pillar of the Atlanta community, Ann lived a life of service," President Barack Obama said in a prepared statement. "Whether it was helping to found the Girls Club for African American Youth, serving on the board of directors for the Gate City Nursery, working as a tutor at Ebenezer Baptist Church or registering voters, Ann had a broad and lasting impact on her community. I also understand that as a wife, mother and grandmother, Ann was a source of strength for her entire family, and that she always put them first."
Obama mentioned Cooper in his election victory speech last year, calling her an example of the "heartbreak and hope" of Americans who lived through a time when African-Americans weren't allowed to vote but later helped elect the first black president. Cooper won headlines internationally when she cast a vote for Obama in the 2008 presidential election.
"Over the course of her extraordinary 107 years, Ann saw both the brightest lights of our nation's history and some of its darkest hours as well," Obama said Tuesday. "It is especially meaningful for me that she lived to cast a vote on Election Day 2008, and it was a deep honor for me to mark her life in the speech I delivered that night. It was a life that captured the spirit of community and change and progress that is at the heart of the American experience; a life that inspired – and will continue to inspire – me in the years to come.
"During this time of sadness, Michelle and I offer our deepest condolences to all who loved Ann Nixon Cooper," Obama continued. "But even as we mourn her loss, we will also be rejoicing in all that she meant for her family, her community, and so many Americans."

About the infamous mandate, this really needs to be said again and again: THE MANDATE AIN'T MANDATORY!
(2) SPECIAL RULES.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law— ‘‘(A) WAIVER OF CRIMINAL PENALTIES.— In the case of any failure by a taxpayer to timely pay any penalty imposed by this section, such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure. ‘‘(B) LIMITATIONS ON LIENS AND LEVIES.—The Secretary shall not— ‘‘(i) file notice of lien with respect to any property of a taxpayer by reason of any failure to pay the penalty imposed by this section, or ‘‘(ii) levy on any such property with respect to such failure.
Woah!!!! The mother of all loopholes! It turns out the mandate is not mandatory because the penalty is purely voluntary! What happens if you failed to pay that penalty? Nothing! No criminal charges will be filed, no penalties will be assessed, and the IRS has no right to file any lien on you. Imagine a judge saying to a convict: "This court hereby sentences you to death. Pssss- don't worry, son- our electric chairs are not plugged in."

I loved this part:
"The bill killers are essentially the 2009 version of the 2008 PUMAs, that whacky species of supporters of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign who, once Barack Obama won the nomination, shouted “Party Unity, My Ass,” and engaged in a summer-fall effort to convince Democratic Clinton voters to stay home in November or vote for the McCain-Palin ticket. They of course failed miserably, as the exit polls and hard results demonstrated on election night. Then, as now, both groups deny there is a racial component to their attack. Others of us can spot it a mile away. But there ain’t much use arguing about that because you either see it or you don’t."
WEE definitely see the racial component to their attack.
Loved this comment: "We may have to rename them POMAs for their strong dislike of our black President. POMAs true thoughts to themselves: "President Obama my ass".

Barry from D.C. (AKA Barack Obama) calls in to Kaine radio show...
Gov. Timothy M. Kaine is making final holiday rounds and "Barry from D.C." couldn't resist the opportunity to call in to a Kaine radio appearance to offer kudos from the White House.
Kaine was caught a little bit off guard during the monthly "Ask the governor" segment when the radio folks tossed the caller to him as simply "Barry from D.C." When the caller begins speaking it's abundantly clear it's President Barack Obama on the line. ("Barry" was the name Obama used during his childhood instead of picking a less awkward name to use at 7th grade mixers from his formal moniker - Barack Hussien Obama.)
On the call, Obama jokes about the awful traffic problems in the Northern Virginia suburbs that ring Washington before thanking Kaine for his service over the past year.
Obama also took a playful swipe at Kaine by saving the big compliments for Kaine's wife, Anne Holton, immediately suggesting that Kaine and Obama are bonded in that they both toil in the tall shadows of more popular spouses.
"We continue to think your wife is probably a little superior to you, as I think people think about the first lady, but you and me have to stick together since we're married to better people," Obama said.
Kaine added "quite a bit superior" to the description of his wife.
"As I think back about my four years as governor I still think my happiest day as governor was in November 2008," Kaine said. "I'm excited to continue to be in service, as they say."
I've been wondering where the f*ck Kaine was...Is he not the head of the DNC??? Why hasn't he been out drawing fire and counter-punching the Republicans and the cry-baby "bill-killer" progressives? Why is Michael Steele more prominent than him???
He needs to get his ass off the local radio station and get on the 24-hour cable news networks and do his job.

This is what the healthcare reform debate is all about for Rethugs
Senator Lindsay Graham on the real health care problem - 'African American population'
Senator Graham:
"Your state is going to be required to cover more people under Medicaid because the eligibility goes up to 133% above poverty....my state's on its knees. I have a 31% African-American population in South Carolina. How did they get the 60th vote?"
When Graham talks about the African-American population that he "has" he does some weird thing with his hand. If I was paranoid I'd think he was giving some kind of Masonic or CCC type-signal.
Well, at least Graham is looking out for the interests of richer white people, and how all this coverage to poor blacks is going to take something out of those richer white people's pockets.
I think the reason this rhetoric isn't working politically any more is when people look at their bank account, wages and job prospects, they don't see much difference between themselves and some working poor black South Carolinian who is 33% over the poverty level. Just ask a factory worker in Michigan.
You mean to tell me that black folks in his state might get healthcare? Shhh! Don't tell Tavis or April that this bill might help black folks. It'll ruin their careers.

CAPD posted an article last week about paying it forward. Random acts of kindness around this time of year.
My mother and I were at Target buying a couple of things. This little old lady (about 80ish) was standing behind us and she only had a couple of items. Well, my mother asked her to go ahead of us. Mom moved the divider and included the little lady's items with ours.
The cashier was shocked. I was like...typical mom. The little lady was shocked as well. Mom just said ....pay it forward. What she had was probably less than $7, but the little lady was so happy.. I know this because she wouldn't walk away. She was speaking English and Spanish, while holding my mom's hand. All I caught was..bless you and Merry Christmas.
Another incident...but from my perspective. My mom and I were shopping at DWS in Westwood. BTW ladies, if you live in Los Angeles, that location is going out of business - high rent district. Everything is on mega sale.
Anyway, the cashier rang up 3 pairs of shoes and I had 4. I was like...oh no! You gotta charge me for the 4th pair. They were all so shocked, like I'm doing a good thing. Oh you are such an honest person! PLEASE!
I was thinking, if I didn't tell the cashier that she didn't ring me up for the 4th pair. It would be just my luck that I wear the shoes walking and thinking I'm cute and what not. Fall and break my neck. God blesses me quite well. I have to do right by him.
But we are so shocked when there's a moment of simple kindness and or honesty.
Good on your mother for doing that, and good on you for posting.

Lord have mercy...Bernice King hasn't been President of SCLC for a full two months and "money" issues are already arising. Lord forbid she destroys the organization that her father founded and Joseph Lowery built and sustained.
Officials with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference have removed the organization's board chairman and treasurer while they conduct an internal investigation into claims of mismanagement.
The allegations surround the Rev. Raleigh Trammell, chairman of the board and the treasurer, Spiver Gordon. A telephone call made to Trammell in Dayton, Ohio, was not answered. Gordon, of Eutaw, Ala., did not immediately return a phone call.
Officials say they launched the investigation in October concerning mismanagement of organization funds. The SCLC says a personnel matter involving an Ohio employee also is being investigated.
The SCLC board named the Rev. Sylvia Tucker as acting chairman. Attorney Randall Gaines is standing in as treasurer.

The SCLC is actually a national organization. From wikipedia: The Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) is an American civil rights organization. SCLC was closely associated with its first president, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The SCLC had a large role in the American Civil Rights Movement.[1]
William is one cool dude. I remember a 60 minutes segment on him a long time ago where he was staying in some village in a very impoverished area of Africa and he was cleaning the out-house. I'm really looking forward to his eventual coronation.
"I cannot, after one night, even begin to imagine what it must be like to sleep rough on London's streets night after night," William said Tuesday. "Poverty, mental illness, drug and alcohol dependancy and family breakdown cause people to become and then stay homeless."

Nate Silver goes off on the fauxgressives:
"I'm sorry, but debating the kill-billers on the policy merits of their position has become a bit like debating the global warming denialists. The denalists operate by picking and choosing which evidence they cite and what arguments they respond to. Sometimes, they raise fairly good points or expose legitimately sloppy work on behalf of "consensus" scientists. Sometimes, they are being contrarian for contrarianism's sake. And sometimes, they're just throwing a bunch of sh*t at the wall and seeing what sticks, hoping that the underlying truth or lack thereof is lost in the fog of debate.
Ya know, I don't even know how to characterize this. A captain in the military is attempting to bring his wife & twin daughters from the Phillipines to the U.S.
In light of more reading I've been doing involving Hawaii, the Phillipines, Teddy Roosevelt and the racist, misogynistic empire building of the U.S., it's a wonder the whte race hasn't been banned to some godforsaken planet where we could bitch about each other's eye color or the texture of our hair - something! to separate us from anyone else.
"Ya know, I don't even know how to characterize this. A captain in the military is attempting to bring his wife & twin daughters from the Philippines to the U.S."
The US military is typically very helpful in resolving these types of issues. And yes, paternity or maternity does have to be proven for children of US citizen / non-US citizen born overseas. It should not be surprising that the embassy did not accept the private DNA test results he proffered.
There is something we are not being told here - met, married, conceived, and kids born in Korea, where Dad was presumably stationed. Now the wife and kids are in the Philippines, which appears to be her native country. Now he is stationed at Ft Knox, sent the family to the Philippines to wait for the paperwork? None of the units now at Ft Knox have been involved in the limited COIN contingent that we have in the Philippines, so I doubt that he was stationed there.
It makes me wonder why (if) he didn't start the paperwork in Korea, but the wife's (apparent) Filipino citizenship may have precluded that. Starting the wife's clearance immediately after marriage is important, and may well have precluded a lot of problems with the kids' papers.
BTW, chances are that the embassy personnel that he was dealing with in Manila are Filipino, not American. That may be why he ran into some rude comments - jealousy on the part of locals.
Things may well have improved since your service, Wordsmith. And, thank you for your service.
I was in the Army 2001-2005; something tells me that your service may predate mine by more than a few years. Troops on deployment now have an Ombudsman's Office at Division HQ level, at least in the Army and USMC. That office serves as liason to the other (civilian) branches of the govt. I know a few soldiers who have dealt with family citizenship issues that way, and did not have much problem. Not soldiers in my area (Iraq), there is not much need for that type of assistance there, for several reasons.
Capt Parham's situation was going to be a tough one from the start, given the multiple countries of citizenship and residence involved. And on top of all that, post-9/11 procedures are in place, although the law had not changed between 9/11 and when he got married and had kids. The Philipines are on the watch list now, for good reason.
The information I was able to scare up indicates that he did not initiate the process in Korea, and went straight to State when he did start. And he did everything but the paternity test first, when that is obviously paramount with kids involved.
It is a very unfortunate situation, and I hope that he is able to resolve it soon.

Seizing the moment on health-care reform By Eugene Robinson Tuesday, December 22, 2009
When all is said and done -- and, yes, there is a bit more saying and doing to endure, which means that anything can happen -- the health-care reform legislation that President Obama now seems likely to sign into law, while an unlovely mess, will be remembered as a landmark accomplishment. The bill making its way through the Senate by the slimmest of margins is imperfect, to say the least. But before listing its many flaws, let's consider the measure's one great virtue: For the first time, we will enshrine the principle that all Americans deserve access to medical care regardless of their ability to pay. No longer will it be the policy and practice of our nation to ration health according to wealth.
When you blow away all the smoke, that's what this fight is about. The Senate bill lacks a public health insurance option, the House bill is burdened by gratuitous abortion restrictions and the final product of a House-Senate conference will probably have both those failings. But once the idea of universal health care is signed into law, it will be all but impossible to erase. Over time, that idea will be made into reality.
NEW YORK (Associated Press) -- MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan apologized Monday for his "very rude" conduct last week during an interview on health care with a Florida congresswoman.
Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz was explaining Friday on Ratigan's show "Morning Meeting" why she supported health care reform. Ratigan, who said he has "incredible frustration" with the way the bill treated insurance companies, asked her to explain why stocks for insurers were going up.
Schultz said she wasn't a stockbroker, and the answer apparently left Ratigan unsatisfied. He said he would "give her a brief education."
"You could be your own guest," she told him as she tried to get a word in edgewise.
Ratigan eventually waved her off, saying he didn't want her to "come on and do talking points."
On Monday, Ratigan quoted an e-mail from a viewer who said he was "very rude." He agreed with the sentiment and apologized to the congresswoman and viewers.
"Our mission and my mission on this show is to shine the light on what is really happening, whether it's health care, the banks, or a war in the Mideast," he said. "And the way I went about that on Friday was a disservice to our viewers because it got in the way of doing just that."
Dylan was trying to be a show-off! He should apologize for being an ass!
And here you are, dropping by to tell us something we already know. Doesn't preclude the fact that you are absolutely correct. I saw that exchange with him & Wasserman-Schultz ...... she couldn't get too many words out.... asshole.
Drop by more often, Admiral.

He sure is. I thought Wasserman-Schultz handled herself really well. The man was straight up playing for the cameras and she let him act out and make a fool of himself.
Ratigan, got royally bitch-slapped by female viewers. I hope his ratings go into a shit pile. These MSNBC frat boys need a long vacation from tee vee..... All of'em!

Tom Joyner is funny. I loved his comments about O'Reilly and 'nem eatin' all the food, drinkin' the liquor all the while steady hatin'. The President sounded relaxed, confident and optomistic. It was good to hear from him w/out the noise of the "networks".

Loved it! Thanks for posting it, Miranda! *fist bump*
I loved the part when he called out the cable news talking heads, saying that they're entertainers. *points and laughs at Bill-O and KO and nem*

Thanks for the link. The best part of the interview was hearing how Mrs. Robinson is doing. I'm glad that she's carved out a life for herself in DC.

I can just see her and Betty Currie runnin around DC together! They are just too cute! I remember thinking the first time I saw a pic of Miss Betty and reading she was Clinton's personal secretary that Clinton probably actually answered to HER. LOL
LoL, I remember how Miss Betty had to get all "lawyered" up when Ken Starr came-a-hunting-and-prying for evidence on Monica Lewinsky. Miss Betty had to go before a grand jury and I know that Ms. Curie didn't appreciate having to hide Bubba's indiscretions.
I just put up a new post regarding Myron Rolle, the athlete that put off the NFL draft to pursue his studies at Oxford. In light of the Rosa Lee story, especially that Part Seven on her grandson..I NEEDED to revel in the success of brutha Rolle! He's such an inspiration!
Hey, SDG! Good for you! ****looks around for an extra gift from SDG**** LOL!

Morning SDG!
Good for you. You're rocking & rolling!

Tom Joyner interviewed the Prez this morning on his show. GREAT INTERVIEW, perfect kind of interview for the TJMS - both serious and funny in the places it needed to be. I'm sure the audio clip will be up on blackamericaweb.com later today.
So what Danny Glover is grumbling..........Ludacris still has bigtime support for the Prez..so there, take that! LOL

Seven and a crescent, bishes! Holla!

I liked how he called her out for that Danny Glover question. I'm glad that the POTUS, in recent interviews, has not been shy about getting in an interviewers face when they ask stupid or biased questions of questions based on untruths.
