Senator Lamar Alexander: Dems want to dump Americans in “medical ghetto”
The citizens of the grand state of Tennessee must really be proud of Senator Alexander
Here’s the transcript of that 30 second race-baiting dog whistle.
Dumping of 15 million low-income Americans into a medical ghetto called Medicaid that none of us or any of our families would ever want to be a part of for our health care…
..Moving 15 million Americans into this medical ghetto…
…Moving 15 million low-income Americans into a program called Medicaid which is a medical ghetto is not health care reform.
Tell us how you really feel, son.
Senator Lamar Alexander, please tell us your thoughts on how the health insurance companies are robbing folks blind, folks who have paid into the system for decades, and then are denied compensation for health care when they need it. What alternatives do you suggest for these folks, and what do you propose for folks who do not have health care insurance, other than calling them “ghetto’?
Update:
Hat tip Jill Tubman:
It’s ironic since most people in Medicaid are white! The most recent study I was able to find shows that blacks made up less than 30 percent of all Medicaid recipients, and only 28 percent of blacks received Medicaid (U.S. Bureau of the Census 1995). Of course, right? Ain’t it always the case that we take the blame for society’s ills?
Here’s the low down on this incumbent Senator from Tennessee. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the very citizens who need health care the most, voted for this asshole. I hope the citizens of Tennessee are watching you Senator Alexander and VOTE your ass out of office.
Let’s see, to the GOP, health care reform =providing health care for 15 million American (BLACKS or POC) Is this not the reason why the GOP and some white folks are fighting tooth and nail against any form of government program? We can’t have our hard working tax dollars paying for these ghetto folks…. WEESeeYou, GOP!
Not one Republican voted to bring the Senate health care reform bill to the floor for debate. NOT ONE!

Just thhink about it, SG2. These MOFOs ahve been around all along, They don't have Alexander and his ilk. These snakes need to be taken out of our government. They are a part of the very government they rail against. It's insane.
The citizens of TN need to ask this fucker what kind of health insurance he and his family have, and who is paying for it.

President Obama cannot fail. He did not WIN the office of the presidency via a lottery. So having said that, President Barack Hussein Obama has already succeeded.
WEE know better.

Just as I suspected Alexander voted for the first Bush bailout, but is now railing against health care reform to protect his own interest.

Senate to vote tomorrow on bailout; Alexander and Corker will vote “aye” to protect fortunes
Congressional leaders and the Bush administration have set on a new strategy to pass a bailout of Wall Street fatcats: let the rich boys and girls club of the U.S. Senate vote first on it.
And it will tomorrow. The bailout will pass by a wide margin because the Senate has a lot of rich members, including Tennessee senators Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker. They're going to vote to protect their stock portfolios over your pocketbooks. They're the 22nd and 15th richest people in Congress.
The New York Times reports tonight that the bailout legislation remains little changed from the one that failed Monday in the House. But a few extras — that you will pay for — have been added to the legislation to swing the needed 12 votes in the House.
The extras include tax breaks for businesses and the developers of alternative energy. But leaders won't reveal all the goodies ahead of time, so the people of this nation won't rise up again in righteous anger.
I don't know about you, but I'm still angry. The only hope for taxpayers and people against bailing out the rich is to keep pressure on your House members to keep those 12 votes against this unneccesary plan.
