Shep Smith Says Ft. Hood Shooter’s Name “Says A Lot” Kay Bailey Hutchinson Agrees!
I updated the Breaking News Fort Hood Thread , but I decided this video needed some special attention.
Shooters name “says alot.” Does it now? *News Flash! “Tyrell Brown” and “Kwame Emboto” had better take notice! Your names could potentially SAY ALOT.
WEE get it, Shep and Kay. Y’all didn’t want to say the shooters name, didn’t want to suggest he was a Muslim. After all, Muslims=Terrorists, right? Shep, if you and Senator Hutchins were trying to be subtle……..
WEESeeYou, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Y’all remember this lady is thinking of running for Governor of the big ass state of TEXAS!

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Y’all remember this lady is thinking of running for Governor of the big ass state of TEXAS!
Not No but Hell No. Kay Bailey Hutchison's racism was front and center for everyone to see. WTF does a name mean Senator Kay Hutchison? Let me get this straight….According to Kay Hutchison, it acceptable racism based on someone's name because it tells you a lot? It tells us what, Kay? Please explain… what did home grown terrorist Timothy McVeigh's name tell us?

Dang, and I thought our gubernatorial candidates were shyte. I think it's kind of funny that her and Mr. Hair are both courting the KKK vote when the Texas demographics seem to be moving the opposite way. I hope you Texans in the house can get a good Dem candidate to stomp the idiot that's left standing.
November 6th, 2009
That's been the problem, we haven't had a democratic leader like Ann Richards in a long time.
We are just stuck with Kinky Freidman's ass. The other democrats are like ol' school, good ass boys, rednecks. I wish Bill White was running for Governor, but he's planning on running for Senate. He has my vote.

SG2 asked a really good question. “It tells us what, Kay? Please explain… what did home grown terrorist Timothy McVeigh's name tell us?”
Yes, Kay, please expalin to us what you mean by that statement. I want to hear her explaination, so I'm going to write Senator Hutchinson.
From Senator Hutchinson's Website:
Senator Hutchison is always glad to hear from her constituents about the issues. Due to the large volume of mail she receives each day, the Senator will only be able to respond to messages from her Texas constituents. If you are a Texas resident currently serving in the military or temporarily living outside of the state, please be sure to mention your home of record in your message.
If you wish to contact Senator Hutchison by letter, phone, or fax, you can do so through any of her offices listed below:

Isn't Kay Buthison, oh pardon me – Hutchinson (my fingers got all Freudian on me there….damned keyboard going all LeRapierWit as well – gotdamn it!) …
Isn't Hutchison UP for reelection?
November 6th, 2009
She is running against Governor Rick Perry. She is trying to out right-wing him.

When Senator Hutchison formally announced that she was a Republican candidate for Governor of Texas, she said she would resign from her Senate post in October or November. She later decided to delay her resignation until after the health care vote. For right now, all would-be candidates are forced to watch and wait.
What does this mean for Texas and why does it matter. It matters a lot. Political junkies note that her resignation would could set off a political chain reaction that could affect the Republican strong hold regarding statewide offices.
Background Information
If Hutchinson were to resign, Gov. Perry would name an interim senator and then call a special election to fill Hutchison’s term through 2012.

Audiegrl,
Your avatar pic is too cute! Who's the cutie?
November 6th, 2009
That's me in the bathtub at age 3.
November 6th, 2009
You are too cute! Love the smile
November 6th, 2009
…knew something of this nature was coming!
So…..Fox is suggesting acceptable discrimination against Muslims?
November 6th, 2009
Some needs to put a stop to the bigotry of Fox News. Next thing you know, they'll be calling for Muslim interment camps!
As a person of color, I don't see how Rivera can stay at that Klan network.
November 6th, 2009
Fox continues to push the envelope…. Shep Smith and Senator Kay Hutchinson have already begun the screening process.

“Me too. With Huffpo you'd believe the world would end before the end of the day. Their out and right “false” and overblown headlines and baseless implosions give me a headache.”
Folks SEE the nonsense that has become HuffPo.
November 6th, 2009
It is outrageous! When will this madness end?

Six months ago Arianna Huffington started allowing right-wing activists to
post stories on HuffPost. These people in turn, went to right-wing sites
and posted a link to their story on HP. That is why you have seen the huge
in-flux of right-wing comments on stories.
This is all about business. More right-wing controversial comments equal
thousands of additional clicks and comments. That makes HP more valuable
and able to sell advertising based on these numbers. Its all about the $$$.
That's why on my blog, I very rarely post stories with links to HP, the
majority of their stories are gleamed from other media outlets like NYT or
AP. So why should we link to HP, when you can link to the original story
and avoid all the right-wing troll action.

Exactly! Daily Beast and a few other blogs sites do the same thing. I
REFUSE to click on HuffPo or Firedoglake sites. I do my own surfing for
news and links I think are important for our community. They can choose
whether they want to click and comment.
November 6th, 2009
You have a point there!
November 6th, 2009
Exactly. On the stories that are written and posted directly on HP, I
contact the author, and ask for their permission to cross-post the entire
article on our blog.
November 6th, 2009
Have you noticed their strong-arm tactics with copy and paste? If you copy
and pasted, anything, even one word, from HP, it automatically copy's the
URL link for the story. I say, bump that noise! LOL
November 6th, 2009
Yes, I sure did. It does it everytime.
November 6th, 2009
Hmmmm….
November 6th, 2009
I use HP as a tool to identify some stories. But always try to find the
source from that point on.
November 6th, 2009
No joke, it works. Most blogger's are happy to have their articles seen by as many people as possible.
November 6th, 2009
I'm still going to write up something I saw on Essence.com, it was a picture of Roger Ailes with a group of minority students. Guess what, he is having a mentorship program with young journalism students of color and FOX NEWS!
http://www1.essence.com/news_entertainment/news...
I almost spit my pop out on my monitor when I saw that garbage. Jeez…
November 6th, 2009
That pic is just too cute1
November 6th, 2009
No, I was just wondering about that because I know some of our posters don't like clicking on to HP at all. Sometimes HP will direct you to the original article and sometimes not. It's worth a try.
November 6th, 2009
That was my best 3 year old publicity smile!
November 6th, 2009
Great idea. None of the sites own folks writing, and they wouldn't be in business if it weren't for the contributions of the writers. I know some of them get paid.
November 6th, 2009
WEE need to start creating our own stories, and then folks will come here and link our stories to their sites.
November 6th, 2009
If that little smile is not the cutest thing?! Just darling!
